Notice how you feel
Log a mood on a 1–10 scale, tag the emotions in it, add a note, and watch the last 30 days take shape on a trend chart.
Wellness companion · Private preview
Selfbloom keeps your mood notes, journal, self-reflection check-ins and guided exercises in one private account, with an AI coach that knows how your week has been going.
A wellness tool, not a therapist or a medical device. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988.
The tools
Each tool works on its own. Together they give the coach and the weekly reflection a fuller picture of how you are doing.
Log a mood on a 1–10 scale, tag the emotions in it, add a note, and watch the last 30 days take shape on a trend chart.
Journal freely, or ask for a prompt shaped by your recent moods and themes. Tag entries and come back to them on their own pages.
Big Five personality, attachment style and perceived stress, plus PHQ-9 and GAD-7 check-ins with plain-language results you can retake over time.
Step-by-step CBT-style exercises: a thought record, behavioral activation, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding and spotting thinking traps.
An AI coach that reads your latest assessment and mood before it replies. Every session is saved, so you can pick one up where you left off.
Ask for a weekly reflection drawn from the past seven days of moods and journal entries: themes, a strength, and a gentle suggestion.
Self-reflection check-ins
Results are reflections in plain language, not diagnoses.
How coaching adapts
A message to Bloom, in a new session or one you are resuming.
A keyword check looks for crisis language before anything else.
Your latest assessment scores and most recent mood shape the coach’s instructions.
The reply is saved with the session. Helplines appear alongside it when the check flags something.
Care & privacy
If you are struggling right now
Selfbloom is not a therapist, a medical device or a substitute for professional care. Its assessments, exercises and coaching have not been clinically validated. When coaching, journaling, an exercise or a PHQ-9 answer contains crisis language, helplines are shown alongside the normal response. That check is a limited keyword aid and will not catch everything.
Entries are stored per account in a SQLite database on the server that runs Selfbloom, and every query is tied to the signed-in owner. When you ask for coaching, a journal prompt or a weekly reflection, the relevant content is sent to the AI provider that server is configured with.
Account-wide export and erasure are not built. Deleting a journal entry does not remove an earlier weekly reflection that drew on it.
Get Selfbloom
There is no public sign-up or pricing yet, and the source is shared by invitation. If you have access, you can run your own instance with your own AI provider key.
git clone git@github.com:aylith-labs/selfbloom.git
cd selfbloom/app && npm install
# Choose a model provider and add its key
cp .env.example .env
# Create the SQLite schema (data/selfbloom.db)
npm run db:push
npm run dev # http://localhost:5580
Needs repository access. Commands run in your own terminal.
The app is a SvelteKit server on Node with a local SQLite file, so there is no separate database to run.
Anthropic by default; OpenAI, Google and OpenRouter work too. Your provider account, terms and usage costs apply.
Sessions use secure cookies in production. Put the app behind TLS before others sign in.
